Follows Puppy Montessori Just like humans puppies need the elementary skills as they grow and explore the world more. Puppy Elementary gives you and your youngster a good foundation to expand their universe safely and happily. During this 6-week course Puppy Elementary covers: Walking nicely on a leash Greeting people and other dogs politely Sitting for meals Gradually introducing novel noises, surfaces, and objects Recall Waiting at the door Managing over excited moments and so much more! The first class is an orientation for humans only. Your puppy must be: *Between 16-weeks and 9-months of age at the START of class (not at the time you sign you up online). *Up-to-date on vaccinations. Your puppy must have received at least one round of a distemper/parvo combination, rabies vaccine at least seven days prior to starting class. Bordetella vaccine is recommended. Spay/neuter are not required since dogs are under 7 months of age. Please bring vaccination records to the first class. *Healthy and free of any symptoms of illness. No coughing, sneezing, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. within 24 hours of class.
